Magic's Bake Sale - bringing us another step closer!

We are getting closer to having enough funds to get Magic an appointment to have a bone scan.

At our annual Spring Horse Show this past Sunday, our volunteers pitched in and helped out by having a bake sale where over $100 was raised. We are close to $1000 now! Another $1000 will get us his appointment and provide the answers we need on how well Magic can recover and whether or not he can return to his Therapeutic Riding work at The Bridge Center.

We never exclude anyone from our Therapeutic Riding Programs, so it only made sense that Magic made a star appearance during the horse show. Magic participated in our "Halter Showmanship"  class. This is where a student can lead a horse, wearing a halter or bridle, through a pattern. The student is judged on grooming, handling and presentation.  Magic and his handler earned a ribbon for their horsemanship. Both got a rousing round of applause from the audience!





So many kind people have donated towards Magic's recovery. Thank you for that! All the staff have been amazed by the kindness and efforts people have taken to do something kind for such a wonderful animal.

How can you donate towards Magic?

1)       Go to our webpage – www.thebridgectr.org.  The DONATE button brings you to Paypal where you can type MAGIC in the donation description field during the “review donation” step. This is important, otherwise the donation won’t go to him directly!

2)       Stop by the barn! Magic loves the company. There is a collection box in the viewing room where you can put your donations (cash or checks).

3)       You can mail your donation to The Bridge Center,  470 Pine Street, Bridgewater, MA 02324. Just make sure you mark it for MAGIC.
