Magic is ONE STEP CLOSER!

Great news that is a long time coming!

After many months, Magic's fundraising has finally reached the halfway point, which meant we could go ahead and reach out to different clinics to see who could help Magic get the diagnosis he needs and do it within our budget.

Dr. Dana Pantano of Black Pond Veterinary Services, The Bridge Center’s large animal vet, sent inquires out to several large animal clinics. It was Myhre Equine Clinic in Rochester, NH that stepped up and answered the appeal. Dr. Grant Myhre, is an equine veterinary surgeon who interest spurred him to design a clinic with cutting edge diagnostic technology. He also serves on the NARHA (Now referred to as PATH International) Equine Welfare Task Force. He understands how valuable a horse like Magic can be to a therapeutic riding program.

So, on Tuesday, July 5^th, Magic will be loaded up into a horse trailer and will arrive mid morning in Rochester, NH for his lameness exam. He will be away from the Bridge Center for a few days as that is the time needed to test his leg, take new pictures of bones and ligaments and tendons and hopefully come up with a diagnosis that will tell how us how to keep Magic comfortable.  

That all said, our fundraising efforts aren’t over yet. We are at the halfway point – which means Magic got his appointment. This will help get a clear idea of what is happening in his right hind. We still need funds to help prepare for his after care. If you would like to donate, please follow the directions below.

How can you donate towards Magic?

1)       Go to our webpage – www.thebridgectr.org.  The DONATE button brings you to Paypal where you can type MAGIC in the donation description field during the “review donation” step. This is important, otherwise the donation won’t go to him directly!

2)       Stop by the barn! Magic loves the company. There is a collection box in the viewing room where you can put your donations (cash or checks).
